Overview
You know what? I wasn’t expecting much from B&B Hotel München-Trudering when I first pulled up – honestly, the name alone sounds pretty corporate and sterile. But here’s the thing about Trudering that most people don’t realize: it’s actually one of those quietly perfect Munich neighborhoods that locals love precisely because tourists haven’t discovered it yet. The hotel sits right in this sweet spot where you’re still technically in the city but everything feels more relaxed, more… I don’t know, livable? You’ve got the S-Bahn practically at your doorstep (the S4 and S6 lines run straight into Marienplatz), which means you can be in the heart of Munich’s old town in about twenty minutes, but when you come back at night, you’re not dealing with all that Oktoberfest chaos or the late-night bar crowds stumbling around.
The rooms themselves – well, they’re doing that modern minimalist thing that could feel cold, but somehow it works here. Clean lines, decent beds (I mean, not luxury hotel soft, but you’ll sleep fine), and the bathrooms are surprisingly spacious for what you’re paying. I actually appreciated how quiet everything was; you’d think being near the train line would mean constant rumbling, but honestly, I barely noticed it. The staff at check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no fake enthusiasm, just efficient and helpful when I needed directions to find a proper grocery store nearby. Speaking of which, there’s a Rewe just a short walk away, which is clutch if you’re like me and prefer grabbing your own breakfast sometimes instead of paying hotel prices. The neighborhood itself has this authentic residential vibe with tree-lined streets and actual Germans going about their daily lives, not just tourist traps and overpriced schnitzel joints.
What really sold me on this place, though, was how it felt like staying in actual Munich rather than tourist Munich, if that makes sense. You’re close enough to bike into the English Garden on a nice day (it’s maybe a fifteen-minute ride through some really pleasant neighborhoods), but you’re also near some fantastic local spots that guidebooks never mention. There’s this bakery called Bäckerei Wimmer about three blocks away where the pretzels are ridiculous, and honestly, starting your morning there beats any hotel breakfast buffet. The 7.8 rating feels about right – it’s not going to blow your mind, but everything works exactly as it should, the price point makes sense for what you get, and you’ll probably find yourself appreciating the low-key atmosphere more than you expected. If you’re the type who wants to experience Munich like someone who actually lives there, rather than just hitting the obvious tourist spots and calling it a day, this is your spot.

Guest Reviews
Breakfast was adequate. It would be improved if a small dining/breakfast room was provided.
What could be improved: No comment
What could be improved: Toilet and bathroom were in 2 rooms but had only one common door which was weird if two people stay in the apartment
Good location nice and clean.
Rooms very small but very comfortable, clean, and organized.
What could be improved: Had to pay extra for parking. Breakfast is a rip off.
Everything was nice, good communication with the staff and useful recommendations towards customers
What could be improved: Maybe the location it’s a little bit far from the city center
Easy check-in and checkout, even self-check-in is available. Nice and clean facility, close to S and U-bahn, 10 min walk.
What could be improved: An air ventilation could be improved
There are some shops nearby.EDEKA,REWE,ALDI.ROSSMANN.DM..

What could be improved: No refrigerator and can't cook hot water.
easy check in and clean room
What could be improved: small pillow
Very confortable for one night or two. Great beds and great location, close to the station.
What could be improved: The bathroom and shower are separate but share the same door. If you are with a friend and want to use at the same time, there will be no privacy for one or the other.
Good value for money. Everything was okay.
