Okay, so I’ll be honest – when I first saw “Asante-Design-Apartment Deluxe” in the booking confirmation, I was a bit skeptical. The name sounds like someone threw a bunch of travel buzzwords together, you know? But honestly, this place completely surprised me in the best way possible.

The moment you walk in, you get why they emphasize the “design” part. It’s not just some generic modern apartment – there’s actually thought put into every corner. The furniture has this really nice mix of contemporary pieces with what I’m pretty sure are authentic African textiles and art (the Asante reference makes sense once you’re inside). The living space flows really well, and there’s this gorgeous natural light that streams in during the morning hours. I mean, I’m usually terrible at noticing interior design stuff, but even I was taking photos of the space. The kitchen is surprisingly well-equipped too – not just the usual two burners and a mini-fridge situation you get in most apartment rentals. They’ve got proper cookware, a decent-sized refrigerator, and even a coffee machine that actually makes good coffee.

What really sold me on this place, though, is the location situation. When they say “very central,” they’re not kidding around. You’re literally walking distance from pretty much everything that matters, but – and this is the key part – you’re tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with street noise all night. I stayed here during what I later found out was a pretty busy weekend, and I could barely hear any traffic from the bedroom. The neighborhood has that perfect sweet spot vibe where locals actually live and work, so you’ve got real cafes and shops nearby, not just tourist traps. There’s this little bakery about two blocks away that locals line up at every morning – stumbled across it on day two and ended up going back every single day.

Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – none of that awkward “meet me at this random corner at exactly 3:47 PM” nonsense. The host was responsive and actually helpful, not just copy-pasting generic responses. Parking can be a bit tricky in the immediate area (honestly, what city center doesn’t have parking issues?), but there’s a decent public garage about five minutes’ walk away. The building itself is well-maintained, and the apartment stays cool even during warmer afternoons without cranking the AC constantly.

You know what really impressed me? The little details that show someone actually cares about the guest experience. Proper blackout curtains, enough outlets near the bed for charging devices, decent water pressure in the shower, and towels that don’t feel like sandpaper. Plus, they left a little guide with actual local recommendations – not just the obvious tourist spots, but places where you can grab a proper meal or find a good pharmacy.

With a 9.2 rating, I was expecting something special, and this place delivers without being pretentious about it. It’s the kind of spot where you feel settled in by day two, not like you’re camping out in someone else’s space.

  Fantastic apartment where we could relax without feeling cramped. It was clean, modern, and offered easy access to the city via Uber for around €13. For our family, including two teenage boys, it was a great stay!

  We had an outstanding stay at Asante design apartments. The rooms are modern, comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need. The atmosphere in the appartment is incredibly peaceful; it felt as though the entire appartmment was ours.
  
  What could be improved: The bed pillows need to be replaced for more confortibilty and you have to use a puplic parking and as per your luck of its neerby or far away

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Asante. The apartment is in a nice area of town near the river. Transit is about 25 minutes to Munich Hbf and Marienplatz with one transfer. Uber is 10-15 minutes. The apartment has high ceilings and what appear to be historic, somewhat creaky parquet wood floors in all but the kitchen and bathroom.
  The bright and spacious living area was attractively decorated. There was a complete kitchen, a comfy sectional, a nice tv and dining area, and a nice-sized modern bathroom. The main bedroom was cozy and had several outlets and a nice mirror. There wasn’t much storage space but there was a nice table that could also serve as a workspace. The second bedroom is between the main bedroom and the living space. It is not as private but has a partial glass enclosure (maybe 80%) and curtains. In the open hall next to it, we had a twin bed that had no privacy. I believe the bed was brought in for us. It was fine for our needs. I think if we hadn’t needed space for a 5th person, the hall would have been great for storage. I must say that we really, really liked this apartment. The pictures don’t do it justice. It was such a lovely place to come home to after a long day of sightseeing. I would love to stay there again.
  
  What could be improved: A little more storage in the bedrooms would have been helpful. Otherwise it was fantastic.
