It’s that kind of local insight that you can’t get from reading reviews online. The area itself is perfect if you want to feel like you’re staying somewhere with character — Schwabing has this great mix of students, artists, and locals who’ve been there forever, so the vibe feels authentic rather than manufactured for visitors. Plus, you’re close enough to the English Garden that you can actually walk there for a morning run, which is pretty great if you’re trying to shake off too much German beer from the night before.
