Hotel Description

You know what? I was honestly a bit skeptical when I first pulled up to the Aparthotel Adagio access near Olympiapark – I mean, the name’s a mouthful and from the outside it looks like, well, a pretty standard modern block. But here’s the thing that surprised me: this place actually gets the aparthotel concept right in ways that matter.

The location is what really sold me on it. You’re literally a ten-minute walk from the Olympic grounds, which is perfect if you’re planning to catch something at the Olympic Hall or just want to jog around that massive park in the morning (and trust me, it’s gorgeous at sunrise when there’s hardly anyone around). What I really appreciated though was how easy it was to slip into actual Munich life from here – there’s this little bakery around the corner where locals grab their morning pretzels, and you can catch the U-bahn without dealing with all the tourist chaos you get closer to Marienplatz. The apartment-style setup means you’ve got a proper kitchenette, which honestly saved me a fortune since Munich restaurants can absolutely destroy your budget. I actually found myself looking forward to hitting the nearby Edeka for groceries and cooking dinner while planning the next day’s adventures.

The rooms themselves are clean and functional – nothing fancy, but everything works and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. The staff at check-in were genuinely helpful too, not just going through the motions but actually giving me useful tips about which U-bahn lines to take and when to avoid the Olympic Park area (apparently it gets absolutely mobbed during any major event, something I wouldn’t have thought about). I’ll be honest, the walls are a bit thin so you might hear your neighbors if they’re having a good time, but it wasn’t anything that kept me awake. The whole place has this efficient, no-nonsense vibe that I actually found refreshing after staying in some overly precious boutique places. For a 3-star spot, it punches above its weight – you’re getting solid value without paying for a bunch of amenities you probably won’t use anyway. If you want to experience Munich like you actually live there for a few days, rather than just hitting the tourist highlights, this is the kind of place that makes that possible.

To book hotel in Munich during the famous Oktoberfest season, visitors should make reservations well in advance as the city attracts beer enthusiasts and cultural travelers from around the world.

Reviews

  • Alex from United Kingdom – 13 May 2025 (7/10)

An excellent spacious apartment with a cooker sink and microwave included – giving you the option to cook food in the room rather than eating out.
10 mins walk from Oberwiesenfeld U-Bahn with the Olympic Stadium and park a 25 min walk away.

What could be improved: Noisy with people out in the courtyard below with the Ibis hotel nearby – other than that an excellent place to stay just outside of Munich city centre.

  • Mose from Kenya – 27 April 2025 (9/10)

A really nice place, I would love to come again. Staff at top notch

  • Julia from Portugal – 2 April 2025 (9/10)

Excellent staff, very welcoming and patient to give information. It really seems to be an apartment, as each room has their own kitchen. I found this awesome! The shower is great also. Very close to the subway station, calm location. There is also many facilities as a small gym and laundry room.

What could be improved: Only the electric stove is not good (it took me 45min to boil 400ml of water). Also the trash storage compartment and the bathroom could be cleaner.

  • Dejan from North Macedonia – 27 March 2025 (9/10)

The room was very good, recommended.

What could be improved: I didnt like that the page said you have a parking, but in fact they meant there is a parking venue but you have to pay for a parking spot.

  • Kushal from India – 27 March 2025 (7/10)

Everything was good. A couple if negative points were one, the room was very small and two, the location was such there were no handy shops around like groceries

  • Winston from United Kingdom – 11 March 2025 (9/10)

What could be improved: Breakfast was nothing special. We went at 9.30ish scrambled eggs were almost finished and until 10am they were nor restocked, therefore we thought that €18 for breakfast was super overpriced.
Generally the extras within the hotel like drinks and snacks were way too expensive, bottle of water was €2.50 a bottle of fanta €5.00. Crazy!
Also the pillows were very uncomfortable!

  • Greta from Austria – 8 March 2025 (9/10)

All necessary things in a spacious twin room including a kitchenette and good side bathroom. 25 mins from city center by train but convenient for any event at the Olympia park

  • Anna from Ukraine – 26 February 2025 (8/10)

The hotel was literally great! Everything was neat, comfortable and beautiful. We and our dogs enjoyed our stay very much!

What could be improved: Hotel is perfect for someone, who travels with a car, as it is beyond the low-emission zone in Munich. Old town – 20 mins by metro. Not much places to eat nearby.

  • Meta from Ireland – 24 February 2025 (8/10)

I did like about the location and the fact that we had a choice to prepare our own meals

What could be improved: I did not like the noise from the train. Overall it was excellent

  • Dorota from Poland – 16 February 2025 (9/10)

The location and the room quality

What could be improved: The price of the food
