You’re close enough to zip into the city center when you want that whole Marienplatz experience, but far enough out that you can actually breathe and find parking (which, let me tell you, is not a small thing in Munich). The whole Motorworld complex is kind of fascinating to wander around – there are these vintage car displays and shops that locals actually visit, so it doesn’t feel like you’re staying in some isolated hotel bubble. I spent way too much time just walking around looking at classic BMWs and Porsches, which wasn’t exactly on my itinerary but ended up being a highlight.

Check-in was smooth – no weird upselling or making you wait around while they “find your reservation.” The rooms have this clean, modern aesthetic that works with the whole automotive theme without beating you over the head with it. Good soundproofing too, which matters because you’re near some busier streets but honestly couldn’t tell once you’re inside.
