You know what? I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to AMENITY-Garden-Apartments – I mean, the name sounds like it was generated by a computer, honestly. But walking through those garden pathways for the first time, I actually stopped and thought “okay, this is pretty nice.” The whole place has this sort of residential feel that’s way more relaxing than your typical hotel lobby scene. There’s something about the way they’ve laid out the apartments around these little garden courtyards that makes you forget you’re staying somewhere temporary. The morning coffee tastes better when you’re sipping it on a private terrace looking out at actual greenery instead of a parking lot, you know?

What really impressed me – and I stay in a lot of places for work – is how they’ve nailed the apartment setup without making it feel sterile. The kitchenettes are actually functional (I made pasta one night and didn’t want to throw the pots out the window), and there’s proper counter space for spreading out your stuff. The living areas have that “someone actually lives here” vibe with decent furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a hotel catalog. I mean, the couch is something you’d actually want to collapse on after a long day. The bedrooms are quieter than I expected too – I was worried about noise from other units, but the walls must be pretty solid because I barely heard my neighbors. Well, except for that one family with the early-rising toddler, but honestly, even that wasn’t too bad.

Here’s the thing that really sold me on this place: it’s one of those spots where you can tell the management actually cares about the details. The garden areas aren’t just for show – they maintain them properly, and there are these little seating nooks tucked around corners where you can actually relax. Check-in was smooth (they remembered I was arriving late and left clear instructions), and when my coffee maker decided to give up on life, they had a replacement within an hour. The 9.3 rating makes total sense when you experience that level of service. Sure, it’s not going to blow your mind with flashy amenities, but sometimes what you want is a place that just works really well. The kind of spot where you can picture staying for a week without going stir-crazy, where you’ve got space to breathe and everything you need within arm’s reach. I’ve already booked it again for next month – that probably tells you everything you need to know.

Early hotels booking in Munich requires advance planning during peak festival seasons when visitors flock to enjoy the city’s renowned beer culture and Alpine atmosphere.

    A quiet, family-friendly part of town with nice houses, you can park your car on the street, but the underground garage is not expensive and is big enough for bigger cars. The accommodation also has an elevator, in case you carry suitcases from the garage to the apartment. The accommodation is as in the pictures, comfortable, clean, the yard is a big plus. There is a tram nearby that goes to the city center, and metro and train stations are not far away either. There is an excellent Greek restaurant nearby that serves large portions of food. Lidl, Edeka, Aldi, Mc Donalds, Burger King… are also a 10-15 minute walk away. Mr. Renners is very nice and helpful and will do his best to welcome you and make your stay as pleasant as possible (big greetings to you Stephan!). Would love to stay here again, highly recommended!

    What could be improved: Nothing. We had a problem of a technical nature, regarding the return of the deposit, it took several days (probably communication between the banks was a problem), but in coordination with Mr. Renners, everything was successfully resolved.

    We had the most wonderful time staying at this hotel! The amenities were new and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to make a quick meal with a grocery store a 5 minute walk away. The host who greeted us was very welcoming and showed us around the hotel and explained how to use some of the appliances (Greetings to you Stephan!). Overall, we had a great quiet stay!
    P.S. Make sure to notify the host an hour before arriving 🙂

    What could be improved: This is not specific to the hotel, but there is construction going on around the hotel, so driving takes a lot longer than expected as they closed a 3 lane road, to be just one. Hopefully, it will reopen soon.

    Stephan met us right on time and he was very kind with the greeting and instructions. He even kept our son's name in mind which makes your experience special. The room was very clean, every detail well organized, and that we could use the garden made it unique. Area was very quiet, shopping facilities were good. You can use tram 19 to get to the city center in ~25 min. Kitchen was well equipped.

    What could be improved: The bed and pillows could be a litte bit more comfortable, but no biggy. There could be a small stool and an anti-slip mat in the shower for the kid. It is a general fact for Munich but price for accommodation is high in general.

    The manager meets you at the property, there was a slight miss understanding as we had not realised the time we had give as a rough guess for arrival, was the time the manager would be meeting us there to hand over the keys. We did receive a call where he explained he was waiting, so we went to meet him.It was our fault for not reading this was the expectation in the email prior to our arrival

    The room exceeded my expectation! It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It is located in a residential area, a little far from the centre but that makes it a perfect area to have a quiet pleasant stay. You can travel around conveniently as the place is close to a tram station(tram no.19), which can take you directly to the central station or other big train station if you needed to.

    The host is super helpful, he tried his best to help us book a tour we wanted as well but we couldn't find any availability. That's ok though, we enjoyed the place a lot!

    What could be improved: None. Everything was perfect!
